APA system for documenting sources, recommends in-text citations that refer readers to a list of references at the end of the paper. The alphabetical list of works cited, which appears at the end of the paper, is titled “References.” APA style for entries observe all details: capitalization, punctuation, use of italics and order.
This semesters lab is about the National Air and Space Museum. All students enrolled in LIB 100 must complete the lab on campus and have it signed by a Professor, Librarian, Work Study or Lab Assistant. If you have questions you can see me during my office hours.
On behalf of ASA College for Excellence I extend a warm welcome. This course will help you with your studies at ASA. During the class I will lecture about how the library works and how you can find quality information through it. Also, we will complete a research paper bibliography and thesis statement. We will have a midterm and final as well as a quiz. Finally, a competency based lab will be required to pass the class.
This course blog will provide material and feedback on all aspects of the course. I will make at least one post a week. I welcome your comments and opinions in both class and on the blog, If you have any questions please ask me.
My office is in the learning center at 875 31st street. I will be there all day Tuesday’s and Thursdays from 10-6 pm. If you fall behind in your studies or if you just need a little extra help do not hesitate to make an appointment for tutoring in your subject. In addition, I will be able to help you with your research papers.
