Welcome!

Hello students. I’m looking forward to this trimester here at ASA.  I am so excited to be your Information Literacy instructor.  I’m sure you all know how famous this school is, known for being, “the college in the mall.”   Therefore, how elated I am to get acquainted with all of you as my students.  I hope to share both the social and academic realities of our unique location and to the emerging field of Library Science know as Information Literacy.  The idea behind the academic discipline of Library Science, is that humans can access all the data, which exists in the world through the organization of information.  So if it’s experimental rocket science or biogenetics, Information Science has allowed us organized these so that people can access and use the information.  Remember with information, anything is possible.
